BBC Worldwide has inked a deal with CJ Hellovision that sees factual entertainment brand BBC Brit in South Korea for the first time.   BBC Worldwide has inked a deal that sees for the first time, a BBC Earth branded block in South Korea.  The block is now available on leading Korean cable channel KMH’s newly launched documentary channel, DocuOne.   It launched together with DocuOne and will be available for six hours a day, in two hour prime time slots, as part of a basic cable package to over 12 million households. Vancouver - The award-winning National Film Board of Canada (NFB) documentary The Apology will hit 66 screens in South Korea. South Korea-based distributor AK Entertainment acquired a five-year licence for the film during the 2016 Busan Contents Market and will be releasing it at CGV Cinemas, the largest multiplex chain in South Korea, as well as at local art cinemas throughout the country.   Announced at Showcase 2017, BBC Worldwide has concluded a TV sales deal with the Joongang Tongyang Broadcasting Company (JTBC), owned by JoongAng Media Network (JMnet), one of South Korea’s largest media conglomerates.
