Quarter of global web users participate in online gaming
Almost 217 million people worldwide visited online gaming web sites in May 2007, according to comScore’s World Metrix report. That’s up almost 17% from May 2006, and represents 28% of the total worldwide online population aged 15 and older. Sydney- Seven Media Group's Pacific Magazines has acquired four of Time Inc.'s major Australian magazines, including Who, Practical Parenting and Bride to Be, for a reported A$90 million (US$77.1 million).
