Sydney, July 2 2007- Seven Media Group’s Pacific Magazines has acquired four of Time Inc.’s major Australian magazines, including Who, Practical Parenting and Bride to Be. Pacific Magazines has entered into a long-term license agreement with Time Inc. for the publication of InStyle in Australia and New Zealand. Celebrity weekly Who will continue to access editorial from the U.S. People mag under a long-term license agreement. The acquisition price wasn’t disclosed. Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Magazines, Nick Chan, said: “We are acquiring a quality business, market-leading magazine brands and great people. We look forward to continuing to build our new titles under their current, successful editorial, sales and marketing teams.”
