Sydney- At the half-way point of the Australian 2007 ratings year, the Seven Network has an unassailable lead, finishing No. 1 in all-people in 18 of the 20 weeks surveyed, and tops in the 18-49 and 25-54 demos. Seven also boasts six of the year’s top 10 regular programs in Dancing with the Stars, Border Security, Surf Patrol, It Takes Two, Seven News Sunday and Grey’s Anatomy. The others are Nine Network’s Sea Patrol, RPA and 60 Minutes, and Network Ten’s Thank God You’re Here. Trying to put the best spin on its results, Nine, which won just two weeks, claimed it had secured all-people wins for the majority of days, namely Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. And Ten boasted it had triumphed in its targeted 16-39 demo in primetime.
