Kuala Lumpur – MEASAT Global Berhad (“MEASAT”) announced on June 5 that the launch of the MEASAT-3b satellite had been rescheduled to September 2014. Kuala Lumpur – MEASAT Global Berhad (“MEASAT”) announced on May 26 that the MEASAT-3b launch, earlier scheduled for June 6 GFT (June 7, Kuala Lumpur time) has been postponed. ASTRO commits to 18 transponders on MEASAT-3b
Kuala Lumpur - MEASAT Global Berhad (MEASAT Global) has entered into an agreement with MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems Sdn. Bhd. (ASTRO) for capacity on the MEASAT-3b satellite. Under the agreement, ASTRO has committed to leasing 18 Ku-band transponders on MEASAT-3b for the life of the satellite for its Direct-To-Home (DTH) services in Malaysia and Brunei.
