Liberty Media Corporation announces retirement of David J.A. Flowers
Englewood, Colorado – Liberty Media Corporation announced on June 16 that after 19 years, David J.A. Flowers will be retiring from Liberty. Flowers joined Liberty in 1995 as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager, was named Senior Vice President and Treasurer in 2000 and Senior Vice President - Managing Director of Alternative Investments in 2011. Liberty Global to sell Chellomedia
Wall Street Journal reports that John Malone’s international cable business Liberty Global Inc., has put its Chellomedia television channel business up for sale, in a move that could lead to a deal valued at between $800 million and $1 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
