Buzz and confusion in U.S. over HDTV
Sales of HDTV sets in the U.S. are predicted to total 16 million in 2007, boosting the HDTV universe to 52.5 million, according to the Consumer Electronics Association. Hong Kong – Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited (AsiaSat) and Indiasign Pvt. Ltd. will jointly launch a C-band MCPC (Multiple Channels per Carrier) platform on AsiaSat 2.
