Kuala Lumpur - Total Sports Asia (TSA) has secured exclusive media rights for the French Football Ligue 1 for distribution into selected Southeast Asian markets. A deal was reached between TSA with Canal+ Events, owners of the international audiovisual rights for the Ligue 1. The deal runs from the 2009/10 season for four years, ending with the 2012/13. Singapore - Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) will launch a slew of new British content on its mio TV platform from 15 July. Announcement comes immediately after news that three BBC Worldwide Channels will move from mio TV exclusively to StarHub TV from 1 August 2009.
