Tim Hincks to serve as President of new Joint Venture

It was announced that Tim Hincks will serve as President of the new joint venture, which brings together Endemol, Shine Group and CORE Media. In his role as President, Hincks will report to Sophie Turner Laing, CEO of the global multi-platform content provider. Shine and Endemol enter joint-venture talks

Businessweek reports that Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox Inc. plans to form a TV-production venture with Apollo Global Management LLC, combining the companies that made American Idol and The Biggest Loser.
