New Delhi- The Indian government has lifted the one month ban on TV news channel Live India (formerly known as Janmat) imposed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Sept. 20 for airing an allegedly ‘fake’ sting operation against government school teacher Uma Khurana on Aug. 30. Sydney - Without fanfare, Australia’s Seven Network launched 7HD on Oct. 15, the first dedicated HD channel from a commercial broadcaster.
