Jakarta – The Indonesian government has issued a decree restricting the Indonesian media from displaying foreign-made advertisements, say local reports. Communication and Information Minister Muhammad Nuh is reported as saying that the joint decree is aimed at giving more opportunities to domestic production houses, and the employment of one foreign expert must be accompanied by three domestic workers. Government agency to monitor content on Indian TV
New Delhi - The government in India has launched an Electronic Media Monitoring Centre (EMMC) that can simultaneously track over 120 commercial television channels. The centre, located at Prasar Bharati office in IP Estate, will allow the information and broadcasting (I&B) ministry to monitor content in the Indian skies.
