Sky invests €4 million in Molotov
Sky has announced the investment of €4 million in Molotov, the French over-the-top video platform, run by Jean-David Blanc, founder of AlloCiné, and Pierre Lescure, founder of Canal+. The investment is part of a larger Molotov financing round and is the latest in a series of Sky investments in innovative start-up companies. Paris- CANAL+ Group, through its subsidiary THEMA, announced the acquisition from Eutelsat Americas of Alterna’TV, a Miami-based content distribution company.
