Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union joins ITU-T and FOBTV
The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) has been inducted by the ITU-T as a sector member. ITU-T is one of the three sectors of the International Telecommunication Union and focuses on development of telecommunication standards (telephony, mobile, IPTV, etc). ITU-T is also active in other areas such as ICTs, broadband connectivity and audio visual media accessibility.
