Hong Kong – BBC Worldwide has just signed its first ever deal with Warner Video in China for pre-school fare Fimbles. To date, over 2.5million BBC Children's videos have been sold in China. London- The global weekly audience for the combined international news services of BBC World Service radio, BBC World television and bbcnews.com hit a record 233 million during 2006/7, up 23 million on the prior year, according to independent surveys, which also found many users use more than one service. BBC Worldwide launches BBC Entertainment and CBeebies in India
BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of BBC, has launched channels BBC Entertainment and CBeebies from BBC Global Channels in India, with the two 12-hour channels airing on Tata-Sky’s DTH platform. BBC Entertainment broadcasts at 6pm local time on channel number 205 from May 1, while the dual-language CBeebies channel airs from 6am local time on channel number 607 from May 2. Sydney- BBC Worldwide's Sydney office concluded a major deal with ABC TV, covering a broad range of drama, entertainment and factual content.
