London – KidsCo, the JV channel owned by NBC Universal (NBCU), DIC Entertainment and Corus Entertainment, has launched in Hong Kong on PCCW’s now TV. Hong Kong/Doha – Al Jazeera English debuted Wednesday on Hong Kong’s now TV, the IPTV unit of telco Pacific Century Cyberworks. Al Jazeera English launched as part of NOW TV's basic IPTV package, reaching some 882,000 subscribers. Transmission began 7pm local time with no additional charge and minimal publicity.
