HBO multiplex channels launched in Thailand and Sri Lanka
Singapore—HBO Asia has expanded distribution of its multiplex channels. HBO Signature, HBO Family and HBO Hits bowed in Thailand on TrueVisions in July. Korea’s traditional media powerhouses—the major terrestrial broadcasters and newspapers- are losing eyeballs and market share to the fast-growing online and pay- TV platforms.
