Beijing - The number of digital cable TV subscribers in China jumped to 12.66 million last year, up 200% from 2005's 4.13 million, according to the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. Shanghai - Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and The Nielsen Company (Nielsen) are collaborating to measure usage of outdoor media and the internet, as well as the development of new media technology in China. English education channel to bow in Korea
Seoul-Korea's Educational Broadcasting System (EBS) will launch the country's first English education channel on April 6 on the Skylife satellite broadcasting service.
