NHK President resigns amidst internal trading scandal
Tokyo – Genichi Hashimoto, President of NHK has left the Japanese pubcaster to take responsibility for alleged insider trading by two journalists and a director of the network. Hashimoto’s resignation comes three days before he was scheduled to step down at the end of his term on Jan 25. Zodiak acquires stake in Indian production house Sol
Stockholm – Zodiak Television has taken its first step into Asia by acquiring a 35% stake in Indian production company, Sol.
