Singapore – Asia Television Forum (ATF), Asia Pacific’s key TV programming market will return for its 9th edition in 2008 from Dec 10 – 12 at the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore. To be organized by Reed Exhibitions, ATF will continue in 2008 as an anchor event of the Asia Media Festival to be hosted by the Media Development Authority of Singapore to bring together international TV programme sellers and Asian buyers and partners to buy, sell, and network. ATF 2007 saw 4,700 participants from more than 500 companies in attendance and generated a record US$62.7 million worth of businesses transacted. For ATF 2008, the larger venue at Suntec Singapore is expected to provide sellers with more flexible suite-style exhibition options as well as cater to growing industry demand with more than 30% of the exhibition space for 2008 already sold and 85% of ATF 2007 attendees having expressed interest to return for the event. Already, more than 200 companies have confirmed their participation at ATF 2008. These include country groups from Spain, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and association-led groups from Japan, China and Israel. More than 350 buyers have also confirmed their return.
