Hong Kong/ Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia’s Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (MDTCA), and the Malaysian Federation Against Copyright Theft (MFACT), which represents the Motion Picture Association (MPA), raided three pirate optical disc burner labs and a related printing facility in Johor on Dec 13. Sydney- ninemsn and Telstra’s BigPond have reached a deal which will see BigPond music, movies and game downloads available through the ninemsn network. Motion Pictures Association (MPA) and anti-piracy authorities across Asia Pacific have launched Operation Blackout, a year-long region-wide anti-piracy enforcement campaign.
