Thai film company launches satellite TV subsidiary
Bangkok – Saha Mongkol Film is to invest 70 million baht (US$2.2 million) over the next two years to operate three movie channels via satellite TV. Best known for its film production, the company has created a new subsidiary Thai Mongkol Multimedia Plc to operate the satellite TV business, headed by president Akarapol Techaratanaprasert.
