Tel Aviv – Armoza Formats announced its first commission for reality format The Real Chat House, which launched at this year’s MIPCOM. MTV India has licensed the programme and production for a 16-episode run, premiering on 4 December, has already begun. This latest deal marks Armoza’s second series pickup in Asia, following the announcement earlier this month that South Korea’s Channel A has signed up for a local adaptation of game show Upgrade. Co-produced with Tanin Productions, the series is filmed in real time, featuring twice-weekly LIVE episodes that will air on Wednesdays and Saturdays during primetime. The MTV India version is titled Chat House, and will feature 15 participants from all over the country. Three “Chat Masters” will kick off the show, adding contestants into the game instead of eliminating them, with the goal of collecting as many friends as possible.
