New York – A+E Networks is broadening its footprint in Japan with the launch of the Crime + Investigation (CI) brand and titles on Hulu as announced by Edward Sabin, Executive Managing Director, International, A+E Networks.

Further extending A+E Network’s partnership with Hulu in Japan, which debuted History Japan in 2016, the launch brings CI’s award-winning content to Japanese viewers for the first time with such long-running series as The First 48 and global ratings winners 60 Days In and My Ghost Story. These series and other programs from the C+I library will be part of a progressive roll out.

Earlier this month, A+E Networks began a global initiative to refresh Crime + Investigation (CI), introducing an updated on-air look, enhanced programming strategy and new tagline – Truth Is Worth Pursuing.CI reaches over 50 million households in over 170 territories worldwide, offering viewers insight into real life crime stories, uncovering the truth behind the crime by taking a 360 perspective and offering insight into real crimes, police archives and courtrooms.
