Los Angeles – Gina Brogi has been promoted to President of Global Distribution, Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, as announced by Mark Kaner, President of the Division. Brogi will oversee the worldwide distribution of Twentieth Century Fox television series and feature films across all media and platforms including Pay, Basic and Free TV, as well as Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD). In addition, Brogi will be responsible for the licensing of all Twentieth Century Fox feature films to U.S. networks.
Brogi has been with the studio since 1999, most recently as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Pay TV and SVOD, where she’s played a vital role in the development and growth of the company’s global television distribution operations. As such, and to meet the growing demands and evolution of the business, Brogi has worked with Kaner to put into place a new organisational structure for the division.
The new structure will unify the licensing efforts throughout all television distribution media and platforms (Pay, Basic and Free TV, and SVOD) as well as align the sales organisation around three major regions: the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), and Asia-Pacific. To best manage the business and sales force in each major region, three long-time senior TCFTVD executives have been promoted.
Evan Scheffel has been promoted to Executive Vice President, the Americas, Television Distribution. Kristen Finney has been promoted to Executive Vice President, EMEA, Television Distribution. Richard Samuels has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, Television Distribution. Each will report directly to Brogi and oversee television distribution strategy across their respective regions.
