Singapore– Mediacorp took home seven wins at the 2016 PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards, a competition which stand for marketing excellence in the media marketing space and an Excellence in Information Graphics award at the prestigious Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) Awards. At PromaxBDA 2016 awards, Mediacorp bagged 3 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze awards.

MediaCorp’s haul of Gold awards came from Channel NewsAsia in the ‘News/Information Programme Spot’ forBring Back the Girls documentary and Channel 8 Current Affairs in the Art Direction and Design for News Programme Open/Titles in both the Tuesday Report and Money Week. The SOPA award for Excellence in Information Graphics (Group B) went to TODAY’s Adolfo Arranz for Rohingyas’ painful exodus.
