Sydney– Asia Pacific satellite broadcaster Australia Network has launched its Australia Network Achievers Program, designed to showcase Australian talent and motivate others to succeed in their lives. The program is working with cricketer Brett Lee, model-actress-singer Imogen Bailey, former boxing champion Kostya Tszyu, plus Taylor & Khoo and Geraldine Cox. Founded by young Australians Kylie Taylor and Valerie Khoo, Taylor & Khoo is a fashion and homewares label that provides income for disadvantaged groups in Cambodia. Cox is president and founder of the Sunrise Children’s Villages for orphans in Cambodia. Bruce Dover, Chief Executive, Australia Network, said “Australia Network has a real desire to share Australia with our neighbours in Asia Pacific. What better way to do this than through its people? We believe these individuals truly reflect the Australian character and epitomise success in their own fields. “Viewers in Asia Pacific will be shown a different view of these Australian personalities, learn something new about them and ultimately be inspired by their lives. It’s about helping people realise their own potential.”
