Sydney – Southern Star International has sold live performance rights to preschool series Raggs to Showtime Attractions, an Australia-based provider of children’s entertainment, for live performance shows to tour the country. Airing on the Seven Network at 11am from Monday–Friday, Raggs centers on a group of five dogs who perform in the Raggs Kids Club Band and play at their Clubhouse. The show is a mix of stories, music, dance, animation and concert performances. Raggs is produced by Southern Star Entertainment in association with Raggs LLC for Seven Network. Internationally, Raggs has been sold to MediaCorp’s Kids Central (Singapore), IETV (Israel), RTE2 (Ireland), KTV (South Africa), and BNT (Bulgaria). Raggs is also slated for full national launch across public broadcasting in the US in 2008. Raggs also includes home entertainment releases through Paramount Home Entertainment, including Let’s Play, Holiday Hounds, Move Your Tails and Wag N Wiggle released in 2007, with a slate to follow in 2008.
