Hong Kong – BabyFirstTV, a 24-hour commercial-free educational and children’s development channel for babies, toddlers and their parents, as well as faith network Daystar Television Network, debut on i-CABLE’s Hong Kong Cable March 31, 2008. BabyFirstTV features more than 40 programs specifically tailored for infants and toddlers. Its content focuses on areas of development including language, math, sensory skills, and creative play. The channel also informs parents on the educational value of each segment with its color-coded system which sees the BabyFirstTV flower logo change colours according to the show’s content. BabyFirstTV will be aired on Hong Kong Cable channel 138 and will be included as part of its Happy Kids Pack. The Happy Kids Pack is available at a monthly fee of HK$60 (US$7.70) or HK$50 (US$6.40) per month on a 12-month contract. Daystar is a family and ministry oriented channel providing interdenominational and multi-cultural programming including contemporary music videos, animation, original programs such as Celebration and the Joni Show. Daystar Television Network is available on Hong Kong Cable channel 35 as part of the basic cable package.
