OUTtv, the world’s leading LGBTQ+ streaming service, has launched on Prime Video in New Zealand as an add-on subscription, as well as co-commissioning Winner Winner Chicken Dinner with TVNZ, produced by Warner Bros International Television Production New Zealand.
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner is an outrageous new game show, hosted by leading New Zealand drag queens, Kita Mean and Anita Wigl’it. Each episode they invite three unsuspecting members of the general public into their living room to go up against each other in a series of outrageous chicken themed games. Kita and Anita are judge, jury and commentator for these games – pushing the contestants to go wild, while changing the rules on a whim, doubling points for extreme behaviour and generally causing as much chaos as possible. The invisible scoreboard means absolutely nothing as these tyrants put everyone through their paces.
At the end of each episode, a Loser Loser Chicken Snoozer is banished to the coop and the other two competitors are invited to share a winner’s chicken dinner together. But nobody goes home empty-handed here – all three guests will take home matching prizes for their efforts, as the real prize was the friends they made along the way.
