Singapore – NBC Universal (NBCU) has recently appointed Lauryn Tang as communications manager for its Global Networks division in APAC. A newly-created position based in Singapore, Tang reports to NBCU Global Networks’ managing director for APAC, Raymund Miranda, and started in her new role earlier this month. Tang’s core responsibility is to work closely with the department heads to develop, conceptualize and oversee all corporate, consumer and trade communications programs across the Asia Pacific region covering various channel brands and initiatives. In the following months, she will be intensely involved in communication initiatives relating to the global broadcaster’s upcoming business expansion activities including the debut of SCI FI and Universal Channels in Singapore in July. Prior to this, Tang was an account manager at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, where she conceptualized and managed communication campaigns for global brands like American Express, SOYJOY, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Larasati.
