Hi-5 UK’s appeal with British audiences has been cemented by its early ratings success on GMTV. Launching on GMTV’s Fluffy Club on 4 April 2009 at 6.35am the slot has seen an increase in audience from a benchmark share of 7.4% to 9.3% with housewives and children 0-3; and an increase on the benchmark share of 14.9% to 19.9% for children 4-6. The Sunday performance was above benchmark for boys 4-6, with a share of 27.2% against the 12-month average of 17.4%. Hi-5 achieved the fourth highest audience among children 4-6 of any programme in the 7:00am-7.25am timeslot on Saturdays since its launch on April 4.
