Sydney – Beyond Distribution has completed a significant deal with Rainbow Media to license programming packages to the internationally distributed WE tv and Sundance Channel. As part of this agreement, Beyond has licensed 12 series – totalling over 130 hours of high-definition drama and factual programming – to WE tv for its viewers in Asia. Highlights include such titles as Stingers (22×60′), a drama revealing the shadowy world of undercover cops; I Do…Let’s Eat (39×30′) a delicious series showcasing nuptial cuisine of diverse cultures; The Cooks (13×60′) a tale of two competing restaurants and their colourful employees; and The Stagers (26×30′) following the art of home staging, one of real estates fastest growing trends. Rainbow Media has also secured a film catalogue from Beyond for Sundance Channel and WE tv, with the content set to air in Europe and Asia respectively. The 12-title package contains classics such as Last Days of Chez Nous, The Business of Strangers, Things To Do Before You’re 30 and Russian Doll.
