Banijay Rights Cooks Up Jeremy Pang Social Media Deal

January 13, 2026 by TVA Editor

Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of content powerhouse Banijay Entertainment, has announced an agreement to manage the social media for globally renowned British chef, author and television personality, Jeremy Pang.

Under the deal, the leading distributor will oversee Pang’s digital presence across YouTube and Facebook, leveraging shows from his existing catalogue, including Jeremy Pang’s Hong Kong Kitchen, produced by Electric Robin (part of Banijay UK), and YouTube channel School of Wok, while exploring future digital-first opportunities for new content.

Shaun Keeble, VP Digital, Banijay Rights, said: “Jeremy combines authentic culinary knowledge with a talent for teaching, making him one of the most engaging chefs on screen. This partnership allows us to showcase his skills in new digital formats and create fresh ways to connect with fans and audiences.”

Jeremy Pang added, “Having produced my own content for almost two decades, I am incredibly proud of how far we have come with our wide range of TV and social media series. We are even more excited for the future on YouTube, and we intend to continue creating fresh and meaningful, educational content around food, culture and travel. I’m sure this deal with Banijay Rights will enhance our viewership and audience across the globe.”

The move bolsters Banijay Rights’ portfolio in the culinary space where it already manages TV chef Mary Berry’s social media pages. The company operates close to 300 YouTube and social media channels, including the digital management for prominent UK comedians Jimmy Carr, Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett and Larry Dean.

Jeremy Pang is best known for his expertise in Pan-Asian cuisine. Born into a family of chefs, his passion for food was ignited at an early age, inspired by his father’s love

for cooking and his family’s Chinese heritage. After studying engineering at university, Jeremy decided to follow his culinary dreams, training at Le Cordon Bleu in Thailand and honing his skills across Asia. His deep knowledge of Chinese and Southeast Asian flavours, combined with his innovative teaching approach, led him to found the School of Wok in 2009—an award-winning cookery school in London specialising in Asian cuisine.

Jeremy is a familiar face on British television, regularly appearing on Saturday Kitchen, Sunday Brunch, and Ready Steady Cook. In May this year, Jeremy Pang’s Hong Kong Kitchen aired on ITV and ITVX in the UK. The six-part series, created in partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, followed Jeremy and friends around the great city, delving into the heart of Cantonese culture and its gastronomy. Jeremy Pang’s Hong Kong Kitchen was joint winner of Best Branded Entertainment at the recent IndieLab Innovation Awards 2025.

Jeremy Pang’s new book School of Wok: Jeremy Pang’s Chinese Kitchen will be published this Thursday, 15th January 2026.
