Electric Entertainment, the Los Angeles-based production and distribution company, has announced the promotion of Erica Small to Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs at Electric Entertainment. In her new role she will be working on contracts for acquisitions, among other responsibilities. Erica will continue to manage day-to-day business and legal affairs operations for all aspects of development and production for Electric Entertainment projects, including TV series, films, live events, and podcasts. The announcement was made by Dean Devlin, the CEO of Electric Entertainment.

As VP, Business & Legal Affairs, Small will continue to serve as lead production counsel for all of Electric’s original films and TV series, handling legal matters throughout the course of the project. Small is responsible for structuring, drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating talent and production agreements, including but not limited to rights options, acquisitions, and licensing. She is also responsible for evaluating rights issues and clearances for the above-mentioned projects, as well as advising all in-house teams

on a multitude of legal matters. Small will continue to report to Craig Gates, Head of Business & Legal Affairs.
