The Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) will take place from December 2–5 in Singapore, and Taiwan is once again stepping into the spotlight to showcase its vibrant and diverse content. Organized by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), the Taiwan Pavilion will present over 260 titles from 92 companies, including a selection of Golden Horse Award-nominated and winning films, alongside popular and trending TV series. This year’s Taiwan Pavilion is set to further elevate Taiwan’s visibility in the global media landscape, driving new partnerships, co-productions, and distribution opportunities.
The Taiwan Pavilion will serve as a dynamic hub for industry networking and business deals, with a series of high-profile events designed to connect Taiwanese creators with international buyers and professionals. TAICCA CEO Erica WANG will also be on-site with the delegation, engaging directly with industry stakeholders worldwide to strengthen Taiwan’s position in the global content market.
TAICCA Chairperson Sue WANG noted that ATF is Asia’s premier entertainment content market, and this year Taiwan’s participation is filled with energy and confidence. The delegation is eager for international buyers to discover the breadth and creativity of Taiwan’s content, while recognizing the significant potential Taiwan holds for cross-border co-productions and investment. TAICCA remains committed to promoting Taiwan’s content on the world stage, creating new opportunities for licensing, co-productions, and financial partnerships.
Taiwan’s film lineup at ATF includes A Foggy Tale, the leading contender at the 2025 Golden Horse Awards, with 11 nominations and four major wins, including Best Narrative Feature, Best Original Screenplay, Best Art Direction, and Best Makeup & Costume Design. Other highlights include April, a drama that explores the cultural ties between Taiwan and the Philippines through the story of a migrant worker, and Dangling, Taiwan’s first high-rise disaster film.
Among the featured TV series are The Accidental Influencer: Love Me If You Dare, the second season of the proven comedy franchise based on Taiwanese influencer Red; Bloody Smart, Asia’s first live-action adaptation based on the work of horror master Junji ITO, starring Gigi LEUNG and Buffy CHEN; and Haunted House Secrets, the latest series from box-office hit The Bridge Curse director Lester HSI.
Also presented are unscripted series such as 4 Her Journey, a travel series that follows four actresses in their forties—successful, steady, and ready for a reset—as they embark on a journey of self-discovery; Stellar Bites, a culinary reality competition blending Taiwanese cuisine with the essence of international fine dining; and Have a Pet Day, where celebrities open up with their pets by their side.
A key event to watch is Buyer’s Lunch: Taiwan Spotlight, which attracted over 200 international professionals last year. This year’s edition will feature Lusasa Animation, Xanthus Animation Studio, Flash Forward Entertainment, Brilliant Animation Studios, and True Fun Entertainment, each presenting their projects to international buyers and industry professionals, fostering cross-border collaborations and sales.
As ATF 2025 unfolds, Taiwan’s presence continues to expand across various event stages. Forbidden Land, Republic of Casino, and The Life Changers have been selected for the event’s EST N8 Horror Pitch, SAAVA IP Accelerator, and Mediacorp Co-production Pitch, respectively. On December 4, a press conference will spotlight Rail Life Story, an infotainment series co-produced by Taiwan Public Television Service (PTS) and Singapore’s Mediacorp. A Controversial Entertainer, slated for 2026, will also be featured at the KC Global Media Distribution Content Showcase. Together, these forces position Taiwan’s content for global opportunities, showcasing its variety and readiness for the market.
