Following the formation of an unscripted creative partnership between format powerhouses Keshet International (KI) and Satisfaction Group (SG), KI and the SG-backed reality TV producer Ah! Production have announced they are co-developing Keshet’s Together or Never for the French market.
Together or Never is a daily stripped reality detective format that sees five fun and surprising couples compete to win a cash prize pot. Featuring three real-life couples and two pairs of fakers, the aim of the game is for the real couples to identify each other and root out the fakers within the week.
Our four fake contestants meet on Monday – to couple up and create two convincing partnerships, including their “cover” love stories and choosing where to live, while also devising strategies to ensure a Team Fake victory. In each of the five daily shows, one couple host the others at home, completing various tasks and challenges to prove their love and relationship is real – from hosting their guests for a meal, to giving them a tour of their home and memories, to even introducing their relatives – while being scrutinized by their fellow competitors! At the end of each daily episode, Team Fake meet up to debrief and adapt their strategies for the next day, whether it’s casting shade on their Team Real love rivals or adding extra layers to their own “cover” love stories. At the end of the week, if two out of the three Team Real couples correctly identify each other, all three Team Real couples win and share the cash prize. If the Team Real couples mistakenly identify Team Fake couples as real, the victory – and all the cash – goes to our four fakers, Team Fake.
Based on an original idea devised by Keshet Broadcasting, this stripped psychological relationship game show has been co-developed further by KI and Ah! Production for the French TV market. Together Or Never was identified by Ah! Production as a “project of interest” following SG’s inaugural International Creative Alliance Days in Paris in June, where KI pitched a slate of formats and paper ideas to creatives from both format powerhouses. Together Or Never will be presented to buyers as part of The Wit’s Fresh TV Formats session at this year’s MIPCOM in Cannes.

Last month, KI-owned Tresor, one of Germany’s leading non-scripted production companies, signed an exclusive first-look deal with the Sister and Satisfaction Group-backed TV and tech entertainment production company Yes Yes Media.
