Gaumont has announced the latest sales of its animated series Bionic Max (52 x 11’) and Do, Re & Mi (52 x 11’).
Commissioned by M6/Gulli(France), the slapstick comedy series Bionic Max features a guinea pig named Max, and his best friend JC, who live all sorts of madcap adventures thanks to Max’s bionic (and sometimes uncontrollable) body! Targeting kids aged 6 to 11, the series has been picked up by Warner Bros Discovery (Italy), MBC (MENA), Globosat (Brazil), ABC Australia (Australia), Pluto TV (USA), EITB (Spain), Happy Kids (USA), TDM (Macao) and the French-speaking channel Tivi5Monde.
As for preschoolers, the Amazon Prime Video original series Do, Re & Mi has found a home on ABC Australia (Australia), Knowledge (Canada), YLE (Finland), RTS (Switzerland), MTVA (Hungary), Thai PBS (Thailand) and ViuTV (Hong Kong). Executive produced by Kristen Bell, this CGI series follows the musical adventures of Do, Re and Mi, three birdie friends who play and solve problems with music. A vibrant story set in a colorful, song-filled world that introduces children to music.
Regarding Gaumont new projects, the production of the comedy series Tiny Head (52 x 11′) has started. Aimed at children aged 6 to 10, the series is produced with France Télévisions, RAI Kids and TV5 Monde on the broadcasters’ side, and Enanimation (Italy), Toonz (India), and Studio 100 (Germany) on the producers’ and distributors’ sides.
