Swedish Comedy-Drama EVERYONE BUT US has been picked up by broadcasters in the Netherlands and Germany. The series airs on NPO3 and NPO Plus in Netherlands, whilst One Gate Media have licensed the free TV rights for NDR Germany as well as the VOD rights for German speaking Europe.
The tragi-comic story of a young couple struggling to conceive a baby, EVERYONE BUT US is produced by Warner Bros. International Sweden, and first aired on Discovery Plus in February of 2021. The same year, the drama which stars award winning actress Alba August and Swedish comedian Björn Gustafsson, was nominated for “Best comedy show” at the Swedish TV Gala “Kristallen”.
“EVERYONE BUT US tells a very relatable story, whether it has happened to you or someone you know. It is told with a great deal of comedy but also heart”, says Lucy Roberts, Director of Sales at Eccho Rights.
The series is set to come back for a second season, currently in production.
