The event in Biarritz is the first international market entirely dedicated to French TV programmes, giving international buyers the opportunity to discover a large catalogue of brand new French TV content.   

STUDIOCANAL has made multiple new sales on sci-fi thriller INFINITI, produced by Empreinte Digitale and Federation Entertainment Belgique. The high-budget, premium drama, already sold to more than 60 territories internationally, including Spain, Portugal, Latin America & Brazil has now been acquired by AMC Networks International, Australia – SBS, Hong Kong – Now Studio, Norway – TV2, Greece – NOVA, Baltics – Go3, Israel – HOT and Canada (English Speaking) – Telus with more deals in the pipeline. The visually striking series INFINITI explores a complex paradox that takes audiences on a thrilling journey navigating between the vast plains of Kazakhstan and the deep silence of outer space. 

Period crime drama PARIS POLICE 1900, a Tetra Media Fiction and AFPI production continues to grip audiences globally with the highly anticipated second series PARIS POLICE 1905 set to return to CANAL+ soon. The first series has most recently been acquired by MHZ – USA & Canada (English speaking), Viasat World for Epic Drama across CEE, Baltics and CIS, RTSH – Albania, Prime Video – India, Cellcom – Israel, Cirkus across Scandinavia, COSMO – Spain and Vodafone Ziggo – Netherlands. Previously announced sales of PARIS POLICE 1900include BBC UK, Sky Deutschland and Italia, and SBS Australia. 

Comedy series, LA FLAMME, produced by MakingProd and Entre 2 et 4, recently returned to CANAL+ this Spring, achieving yet more record-breaking success with series two. The hit franchise continues to find new international partners outside France recently selling to Now Studio – Hong Kong, Radio Canada – French speaking Canada, Cellcom – Israel and RTP – Portugal. 

UFOs aka OVNI(s), a Montebello Productions creation returned to CANAL+ this year and boasts a raft of new global broadcasts, including with MHZ – USA & Canada (English speaking), TV5 – French-speaking Canada, AMC Networks International – Latin America & Brazil and Filmin – Spain & Portugal. 

After 8 successful seasons and achieving top ratings both in France and overseas, International Emmy Award-winning and BAFTA Nominated franchise SPIRAL AKA ENGRENAGES, a Son et Lumière production, continues to enjoy worldwide success. In addition to previous sales, the prestige crime franchise has been sold to for the first time to AMC Networks International in Spain, Europa+ in Mexico, as well as to C-More – Scandinavia and M7 Channels – Hungary & Romania.
