ZEE5 Global, the world’s largest streaming platform for South Asian content, has dropped the trailer of its ZEE5 Original Drama Series E Emon Porichoy which is the first-ever long-series format series for the market. In this new format, each season will have 20 episodes which will be released periodically.

E Emon Porichoy stars much-acclaimed actors like Shamol Mawla, Aisha Khan, Shahiduzzaman Selim, and Rosey Siddique. It narrates the story of Nayantara who reaches the famous Mirza House in Dhaka to avenge her brother’s death. However, things take an unexpected turn when she begins to fall in love with her brother’s suspected murderer Rudra and encounters a contradictory secret about her brother’s murder, taking her down a different road. The love story-political thriller is bound to be a hit with viewers across the globe.  The show will release on 27th October.

Its latest Original web series Ladies & Gentlemen directed by eminent Bangladeshi director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki received much global acclaim.  

Since the launch of its first Bangladeshi Original Mainkar Chipay last year, ZEE5 has witnessed a 3X spike in its watch-time led by a demand for Bangla content from across the globe.
