European executive production company Media Musketeers will attend MIPCOM (11th-14th October) with a major slate of seven drama titles, including Pulse, Un Prophète, The Paradise, The Hook, Francia Nostra, and The Increment.
The company, which finances and co-produces high-end TV series and film, has also confirmed the expansion of its geographical reach with the appointments of Aeysha Walsh in Los Angeles, and Victoria de Kerdrel in Singapore.
Aeysha will work to increase Media Musketeers’ editorial presence in the US by building relationships and helping to drive and expand development and production.
With a portfolio of diverse clients, her career has been spent in film and television. She spearheaded the Feature Film Division of MJZ, the world’s most awarded commercial production company and nine-time winner of the Palme d’Or.
Working with Oscar, Emmy and DGA-winning directors, her work as a producer has premiered at film festivals around the world including Venice, Tribeca, and Toronto as well as being showcased by the acclaimed Works & Process series at the Guggenheim in New York. Beginning with Spring Breakers, which was ranked by the BBC as one of the 21st Century’s 100 Greatest Films, her work as a producer is available on most major networks and premium streaming platforms.
Victoria will be responsible for distribution and co-production projects, and building partnerships with creatives in the Asia-Pacific region. She has worked across several international media markets, including time spent at the BBC in London, Barcelona, and Paris.
Since moving to Asia in 2011, she has worked on more than 30 co-productions in conjunction with the Ministry of International Affairs and Communications of Japan, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, and the National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia (FINAS). She currently represents K7 Media in Singapore and a portfolio of US based and European producers.

Pulse (6 x 60’) A dark survival thriller written by Stephen R. Clarke, directed by Sallas de Jager, produced by Primetime Emmy winner Steve Lanning, with visual effects led by award-winning Hilton Treves. It is a co-production with UK-based ForLan Films, MultiChoice’s streaming service Showmax, and THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO.
Un Prophète (10 x 52’) The highly anticipated reimagining of the iconic BAFTA, Grand Prix, César-winning and Oscar-nominated Jacques Audiard film. It is a co-production with Paris-based CPB Films. The film’s original writing and production team of Abdel Raouf Dafri, Nicolas Peufaillit, and Marco Cherqui have re-grouped to develop and co-produce the television reboot.
The Paradise (Season Two) (8 x 50’) Nordic crime thriller set in Spain and Finland and is co-produced with YLE and MediaPro. Season One received the highest ratings for YLE, and actress Riitta Havukainen was awarded ‘Best Actress’ in the Finnish Kultainen Venla Awards. Media Musketeers has also obtained the rights to distribute Season One.
The Hook (10 x 60’) Music-driven drama set in the world of UK pop. Follow the lives and loves of a family at the heart of the music business, where everyone is looking for their next big hit. When your music has the power to break a heart and your voice can change your future, you better make sure your next song is a smash. Written by Charlotte Hudson and Leila Hackett, the series is produced by Lisa Wasserstein.
Francia Nostra (Duration tbc) From the writer of Un Prophète, Abdel Raouf Dafri, this period drama follows the hidden world of French organised crime and the rise of the French Corsican Mafia. Produced by Fabio Conversi.
The Increment (8 x 60’) Pulse-racing contemporary espionage thriller set inside an ultra-secret unit of British Intelligence. The series focuses on a covert female operative as she infiltrates a right-wing extremist group and races to stop a global conspiracy. From the creative team of Scott Charnick.
