ZEE5 Global, the largest streaming platform for South Asian content, has consistently premiered outstanding Originals across genres and languages.

The video streaming platform recently announced the release of their latest web series Sunflower, a unique murder mystery laced with dark humour. Sunil Grover leads the cast of the series along with Ranvir Shorey as Inspector Digendra, his team-mate Girish Kulkarni as Inspector Tambe, Ashish Vidyarthi as Dilip Iyer, Mukul Chadda as Mr. Ahuja, Radha Bhatt as his wife Mrs. Ahuja, joined by Ashish Kaushal as Raj Kapoor, Shonali Nagrani as Mrs. Raj Kapoor and Saloni Khanna, amongst others. The web series is set to release on 11th June 2021 across select global markets.

ZEE5 Global has released the first look poster of the show featuring Sunil Grover as Sonu. The actor is pointing his finger towards his squint eye encircled with a crime setting. The poster leaves you guessing without revealing much about the story.

Sunflower is the story of a middle-class housing society in Mumbai with quirky characters. From thrills, comedy and drama cantered around the characters with their relatable stories, everything about the housing society promises to take you on a roller-coaster ride.

Sunil Grover said, “The poster builds a lot of intrigue around the plot as well as my character. I play Sonu in the show and if you had to describe his quirks creatively, this poster would be the perfect answer! Wait till you get introduced to all the other characters as well. The entire team is excited that Sunflower is premiering on 11th June on ZEE5 and can’t wait for everyone to binge-watch and of course, stay home and laugh.”
