BBC Global News announced the launch of their first digital distribution deal in China. The deal is with the no.1 travel company in China, and owner of Sky scanner, Ctrip.

 

From the middle of February onwards, there will be a total of 2 hours of BBC Travel Show short clips streaming on the Ctrip APP, providing a fantastic variety of global and local travel content to Chinese consumers.

 

38 Shows from BBC Travel Show including videos from Asia and around the world will be featured. Highlights from across Asia include taking a look at the wonderful variations of wildlife in Thailand, Go Karting in Tokyo and of course an episode looking at the famous Manila Jeepneys.

 

While global highlights will include investigating everything from the blossoming vegan eating scene in London to the remarkable experience of snow holing in Scotland and an exploration of some of New York’s coolest Subway art.
