NEW YORK – A+E Networks-owned Lifetime has greenlit My Great Big Live Wedding, an eight-part live wedding event series from LA’s Thinkfactory Media. The show will feature eight couples as they work together with world-renowned wedding and event planner David Tutera to plan out the wedding of their dreams.
My Great Big Live Wedding is designed to “turn the wedding genre on its head by doing something that audiences have never seen before,” said Adam Reed, President of Thinkfactory Media, in a statement.
Each episode will trace the journey of one couple as they share their story live from a different city or town across America. According to Lifetime, dramatic reveals will culminate in the live broadcast of the wedding, brought to life by Tutera.
Tutera is an award-winning celebrity wedding planner, fashion designer, lifestyle designer, entertaining expert, author, professional speaker and television star. He is the host of WE tv’s show, My Fair Wedding with David Tutera and David Tutera’s CELEBrations, and has been feted by Life & Style Magazine as “Best Celebrity Wedding Planner” with a client list that includes celebrities, royalty, politicians and socialites.
Executive producers include Thinkfactory’s Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Tim Cohen-Laurie, Leslie Greif and Tutera, with Joey Toth as co-executive producer. For Lifetime, Gena McCarthy and James Bolosh are executive producers.
