HILVERSUM – For the fourth consecutive year, The Voice of Portugal has won the award for Best Entertainment TV Show at the Prémios Televisão ceremony in Portugal. The ceremony awards the best national TV productions.
The show competed with reputed formats such as Got Talent Portugal, Masterchef Junior, Kitchen Nightmare and D’Improviso. This is another significant recognition for the hit format that has already received numerous awards, including 4 Emmy’s and 4 People’s Choice Awards.

The Voice of Portugal premiered in 2011 on RTP1 and a 6th season is set to air this fall. The latest season scored an average of 1 million viewers per episode and a 22% market share overall. First on air in The Netherlands in 2010, the record-breaking show is currently being watched on every continent, airing in over 180 territories.
