Cannes – RAI Com announced it has appointed Castalia Communications as its distribution agent for its All’Opera productions in Latin America. As part of the agreement, Castalia will arrange with cinema venues in Latin America to feature events from the All’Opera 2016/2017 season.
The collaboration with Castalia will enable opera-loving audiences in the region to experience some of the most beautiful performances in HD and 4K with Dolby Surround sound directly from historic and renowned venues and locations in Italy, while in the comfortable setting of their local cinema.
All’Opera, is the signature production of Rai Com that showcases the best Italian opera productions to cinema audiences all over the world. Now in its second season, the catalog includes productions from La Scala in Milan, the Teatro Regio in Turin and the Opera di Roma, among others, and currently, has contracts for movie theater distribution in 10 countries across Europe and Asia.

Through the agreement with Castalia Communications, All’Opera will be able to enhance its current footprint to countries in Latin America, including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Brazil, where opera lovers will enjoy this master performance from across the oceans.
