Paris – A trio of key industry leaders, Laurens Drillich, President, Endemol Shine Latino, Joshua Mintz, Deputy to the President, TV Azteca, and Tomas Yankelevich, Content & International Business Director, Telefe, have joined the line-up of the third MIP Cancun Latin American TV Market and Summit and take the stage to share their vision on the future of Hispanic content.
These TV heavyweights will take part in MIP Cancun’s Summit, the only executive forum in Latin America where content creators, show runners, executive producers and heads of programming involved in scripted and unscripted content creation all come together to explore new and rewarding commercial opportunities. MIP Cancun 2016 takes place in the Mexican resort of Cancun from 16 to 18 November.
NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) will also curate a session to present three new exciting drama projects. The MIPFormats Pitch Latin America, an international competition for new ideas for TV formats from producers and creators in Latin America, will showcase the next big hit for Latin America and the US Hispanic market. MIP Cancun Summit delegates will also hear keynote addresses by Manuel Abud, President & CEO, Azteca America; John Farrell, Director YouTube Latinoamerica; and Cris Abrego , Co-Chairman of Endemol Shine Americas and Co-CEO of Endemol Shine North America.
