Zodiak Rights has shipped Minnow Films’ five-part documentary SAS: Who Dares Winsto a range of global territories, as it heads to MIPTV with a diverse slate of new factual content.
Produced by Minnow Films for the UK’s Channel 4, SAS: Who Dares Wins, has been picked up by SBS (Australia) and TVNZ (New Zealand), as well as BBC Worldwide Global Channels in a pan regional deal for Africa, Central and South America. In Europe, acquisitions include Polsat (Poland), RTL Nitro (German-speaking Europe), TV2 (Norway), SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland) and Discovery Benelux. SAS: Who Dares Wins was recently recommissioned by Channel 4, for a second series.
Selection for the SAS has never been filmed, but SAS: Who Dares Wins gets closer than ever before, as elite ex-Special Forces soldiers put 30 physically fit civilians through an extraordinary series of physical and psychological tests taken from the real entrance process. Subject to intense psychological profiling, sleep deprivation, endurance tests and interrogation, they will soon find that physical fitness is just the start – the true test is one of character.
