Mexico City, Mexico– TV Azteca announced that its format has been a hit in Malaysia. Based on the Mexican format La Academia Azteca, the localised version Akademi Fantasia, recently aired its 12th season on Astro RIA.
The series has become Astro’s most iconic talent show, sustaining its success for 12 seasons. It is also Astro’s number one show in Malaysia, with Astro’s penetration hitting 65% of Malaysian TV.
