KI’s original new variety game show fusion Who’s On Top? is a co-development from Keshet Broadcasting and Flare Media International. A unique and instantly eye-catching entertainment format, it sees three contestants suspended in “air pods” which are scaling in-studio towers five stories high, faced with fun trivia questions to which only two answers apply such as “more” or “less” or “true” or “false”. If answered correctly, the contestant’s air pod springs to life and quickly ascends to the next level of the tower accumulating money as it goes, but if wrong, they plummet all the way to the basement level, leaving only their head peeking above the floor until the next round. The goal of the game is to keep climbing and make sure you’re on top. The contestant who makes it to the final round will play for the chance to win the money accumulated by all three players throughout the game. Who’s On Top? is produced by Flare Productions and July August Productions, and was created by Erez Tal (creator and former host of The Vault, host of Big Brother, Money Drop) and is soon to launch in prime time on Keshet Broadcasting.

Each player chooses their famous “prankee” and strives to push the boundaries of the game, dealing with their challenge in the most outrageous and hilarious way possible. By turning the spotlight on the bedroom, the series sharply exposes the power play and tension between genders, classes and different sectors of Israeli society. It was created and written by Tom Shoval and Dani Rosenberg, who also directed. It was produced by July August Productions for YES DBS Satellite Services.
KI will also launch the suspenseful docu-drama SABENA HIJACKING: MY VERSION at MIPCOM 2015. Based on the previously undiscovered audio recordings of Sabena flight 571’s British pilot, it reconstructs the hijacking of the plane by four members from the “Black September”, the armed wing of Fatah (or Palestine Liberalization Organisation) on its way from Brussels to Tel Aviv on 8 May 1972. The film shares the untold story of what took place during 30 hours of nerve-wrecking captivity when four hijackers threatened to explode hand grenades unless 300 prisoners were released. It draws on exclusive access to three revered Israeli political leaders, including current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who were in charge of the rescue effort which saw a special army unit storm the plane disguised as technicians. The flight’s only surviving hijacker, also tells her side of the story. SABENA HIJACKING: MY VERSION was produced by United King and DNA Productions for Keshet Broadcasting, created by Nati Dinnar, directed by Rani Saar and written by Moshe Zonder. It aired this month attracting rave reviews and a staggering 40% share on primetime on Keshet, a lead of 213% on the nearest competitor.
